Big Brother Australia’s first-ever all-star series — Back to the Future — will be hitting screens next month and while the returning faves are sure to cause chaos in the BBAU house, the new cast members are just as down for drama.
While we’ve been privy to which Big Brother alums are returning since October, the identities of the cast’s newer half have been kept relatively under wraps — until now!
So far, only one new Big Brother contestant has been *officially* announced. However, as reported in episode 177 of the So Dramatic! podcast, we’ve got the tea and can exclusively reveal the identity of three more newbies competing in the 2022 series.
Jaycee
Tiktok singer-songwriter Jaycee is set to make a splash in the upcoming season.
A source spilled to So Dramatic!: “He is telling everyone he went on and made it to the top six”.
The TikTok star — who boasts 1.3million followers — used to produce content based on his music, including rap and remix videos.
Now, he uploads clips where he stops “random” people on the street and asks them to choose between his song or the song of a very famous, well-established musician. They almost always choose him and is it just us or is something about this format a lil’ sus?
Is Jaycee genuine or just taking on BBAU to plug his music? That remains to be seen!
Aleisha Campbell
Joining Jaycee among the Big Brother cast will be the ex-girlfriend of Australian Survivor: Blood vs Water star Jordie Hansen.
Aleisha Campbell was dating Jordie up until he went on Survivor, but he isn’t her only link to the reality TV world.
The contestant is friendly with Love Island’s Dom Thomas and Todd Elton, Big Brother‘s Katie Williams, Charlotte and Alexandra McCristal and Gabe Criste. Not to mention The Bachelor‘s Damien Stone and Pascal Wallace, too!
Sheesh! The reality TV pyramid scheme is in full force, no? Hopefully, they have given her some pointers on how to bring the drama.
Melanie Todd
The third and final (for now) fresh-face Big Brother cast member is Melanie Todd.
If you thought Ashleigh was well and truly a part of the reality TV pyramid scheme, you haven’t seen anything yet!
*Clears throat* Melanie has links to Married at First Sight‘s Jaimie Gardner, Clare Verral and Ashley Airvin, The Bachelor’s Alex Nation, Lee Elliot, Georgia Love and Leah Costa, as well as a host of Big Brother, Love Island, Survivor and Farmer Wants a Wife stars.
One source told So Dramatic! that Melanie is a total ball of energy. We all know that in the world of reality TV that always leads to some drama!
