Chrissy Zaremba may be making an impact on Australian Survivor: Blood v Water 2022, but it turns out the survival series isn’t her first stab at a reality TV win.
In Chrissy’s Survivor bio, the 42-year-old made it clear that she was not a Survivor superfan. She only took on the challenge so her brother-in-law Croc could “keep his dream of being part of the game alive.”
However, while she may not have a clue about how this reality show works, Chrissy does have some experience being in front of the camera.
Way back in 2011, Chrissy was actually a contestant on The Block!
The Survivor star joined the beloved show alongside her husband Toby, but was booted before the competition officially started.
The pair made it through to the top eight couples, but lost out on a place in the official competition after being eliminated following a 24-hour “super challenge”. Brutal!
As it turns out, Chrissy and Toby actually lost their position in the game to eventual season four winners, Polly and Waz Jones!
So, even our Australian Survivor angel Chrissy is a part of the Australian reality TV pyramid scheme – no one is safe!
What Happened to Chrissy Zaremba On The Block Australia?
Chrissy and Toby took on The Block in hopes of winning enough money to buy land near the beach.
Their elimination put their dreams on hold temporarily, with Toby describin g the fatal super challenge as “chaos”.
“We ran out of time to execute our ideas,” the engineer explained to The Courier Mail, adding that “so many things went wrong”.
There was a silver lining for The Block hopefuls, however. Chrissy revealed that despite being eliminated, they made it through as a couple. Aw!
Toby added: “If we can survive The Block, then we can get through anything life throws at us.”
Evidently, that includes a brutal Survivor course because Chrissy has KILLED IT throughout the 2022 season.
