FBOY Island Australia 2024‘s Paddy Colliar has broken his silence about his breakup with leading lady Krystal Thomas.
ICYMI: During the finale of the second season of Binge’s dating show, Krystal chose to pursue a relationship with Paddy instead of runner-up Doug Roocke.
However, just days after the episode aired, Krystal revealed that she and Paddy had split after being “blindsided” by his behaviour.

While Paddy (who previously appeared on The Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise) was touted as a “Nice Guy”, his former flame claimed he was more of the “FBoy” variety.
As reported in episode 423 of the So Dramatic! podcast, the FBOY Island star has revealed what went down between him and Krystal once cameras stopped rolling.
“Love how people assume sh*t and will spin absolute bollocks with their two cents to try get a reaction or a bit of attention,” he told host Megan Pustetto.
Paddy Colliar said returning to life after FBoy Island 2024 ‘wasn’t that easy’
According to Paddy, Krystal seamlessly “went back to her daily routine” after FBOY Island.
“It wasn’t that easy for me as I returned to Adelaide. Some personal family things unfortunately went down that needed my full attention, and not only that, I had another surgery on my face,” he explained.
“Honestly, I couldn’t give her the attention she wanted, and I struggled to juggle everything that was going on, and it started to get a bit much for me, but I completely take that on the chin, and it’s something I really need to work on.”

He added that while he had organised flights and accommodation to visit Krystal in Queensland, he “ended up not bothering” after a series of “little arguments over nothing”.
“The spark wasn’t there anymore for me, and I didn’t want to mess with her emotions or feelings. Honestly, we were still in the get-to-know stage anyway, like we barely knew each other,” Paddy said.
FBOY Island‘s Paddy Colliar doesn’t ‘dislike’ Krystal Thomas following their breakup
He also admitted that the stars “just didn’t align” for him and Krystal after FBOY Island.
“I just wasn’t feeling it, and neither was she, which we spoke about,” he confessed.
“My family will always come first, and I wouldn’t change a thing. There are three sides to every story: hers, mine and the truth.”
He continued: “As I said in my post, I’m grateful for her and the experience I had with her during the show. The feelings were real, with some great memories and laughs, and she allowed me to be myself and open up, which was a really nice feeling.”

Adding that “it is what it is”, Paddy assured that he doesn’t “dislike Krystal by any means”.
“Apparently, she’s seeing someone now anyway, so good for her. Hope it all works out,” he said.
FBoy Island Australia 2024’s Paddy Collier addresses claims he was ‘shameless in his desperation to be on TV’
He then addressed one FBOY Island production insider’s claims that he was “shameless in his desperation to be on TV”.
“If only you knew how hard it was for me to get the confidence to be behind a camera again,” Paddy said. “It wasn’t easy for me at all, and I had so much hesitancy going on this show after the last two years I have had.
“But hey, I did it, don’t regret it, and I’m proud of myself for doing so.”
