FBOY Island Australia 2023 lead Molly O’Halloran confessed she’s “disappointed” that villain Caleb Duncan was brought back for the 2024 season after his misogynistic behaviour last year.

While Molly found long-lasting love with her final pick, Nick Brown, she battled her fair share of “Fboys” while on the Binge dating show.

Perhaps the most memorable (and most aggravating) was Caleb, who suggested that Molly’s ex-fiancé cheated on her with an escort because she “ain’t got no good p*ssy”.

After FBOY Island 2023 wrapped, he continued to take jabs at Molly, calling her a “mental case” (among other vile things) in a WhatsApp group chat for male cast members — including Nick.

Now, Molly has shared how she feels after it was revealed producers had Caleb return to the show in Season Two as a bartender-turned-intruder contestant.

“I definitely knew that they were bringing Caleb back,” the 28-year-old confessed during her tell-all episode of the So Dramatic! podcast. “I was very disappointed to hear that he was coming back.

“I tolerated him on the show because I knew he played a role. He was there for a purpose, and somebody had to be the villain. I said to producers, ‘I was like, ‘Don’t you dare let him come near me. I don’t want anything to do with him.”

Molly O’Halloran says FBOY Island is ‘rewarding bad behaviour’

Molly told host Megan Pustetto that she also informed the Executive Producer at Warner Bros (the production company behind FBOY Island) about Caleb’s comments in the group chat.

However, she resigned to the fact that “they don’t care”.

“They’re filming a show, they want drama,” she admitted. “From where I sit, I think it’s rewarding bad behaviour.

“I think surely you could have cast a new villain this year. Surely, there’s someone else.”

Apparently not!

Molly O’Halloran recalls when she learned what Caleb Duncan said about her

Recalling the moment she learned about Caleb’s “p*ssy” comment, Molly said she was a smidge shook.

“I was kind of taken aback, to be honest, that someone would say something so foul,” she said, adding that she “wasn’t interested [in Caleb] in the slightest” after their very first chat.

“He’s the kind of person that talks at you rather than to you.”

She suspected that he was “butt hurt” that he was rejected by the leading ladies, which is “where this comment stemmed from”.

“I think when I actually processed it, it hurt a bit more. It’s very hard to go through, you know, catching your ex-fiancé cheating and not internalize that. It doesn’t matter how confident you are,” the occupational therapist added.

“You know, I’m the kind of person that can brush it off, but a lot of people would take that to heart.”

Has Caleb Duncan apologised to Molly O’Halloran after his FBOY Island comments?

A year after appearing on FBOY Island, Molly revealed she recently “ran into Caleb not long ago at an event.”

“As soon as he saw Nick and me, he Usain Bolt-ed out of there… Then I found him later in the night, and to [my] face, he’s incredibly apologetic,” she revealed.

“I think he’s just trying to boost his acting career.”

If that’s the case, he needs a bit more practice pretending not to be an FBoy!
