We’ve spotted more telling clues that Married at First Sight Australia 2022‘s Domenica Calarco and Ella Ding are no longer friends after their Sit With Us podcast was cancelled.
Rumours were circling that the besties were on rocky terms after sources told So Dramatic! that Ella was trying to “distance herself” from Domenica after the backlash they received from their podcast episode with Jack Dunkley and Tori Adams.
Another insider claimed Ella wasn’t impressed with Domenica’s “non-existent work ethic,” which caused further tensions to arise.
Fuel was added to the fire when the pair announced the podcast they co-hosted together had been cancelled.
Despite the duo insisting they’re still friends, we’ve spotted some more damning clues that they’re no longer besties or as close as they once were.

Domenica recently took to her Instagram Story to share her fans responses after asking them to reveal the “hardest thing” they’ve “ever outgrown”.
“Lots about friendships,” she wrote, alongside the sad eyes emoji. And we wonder if this was a hint at the status of her her friendship with Ella?
Meanwhile, she also liked more comments on TikTok about her rumoured feud with Ella, seemingly confirming the current speculation to be true.
One of the comments Domenica liked read: “Friendships are relationships, and sometimes they too fall out of alignment and move in different directions, hoping you both realign.” Yikes.
Another user brutally jabbed Ella, stating, “There’s something to be said about the fact that you’re sad, and she’s PURPOSELY posting saying how happy she is. Sorry, girl.”
Domenica liked this comment too. And tbh, that’s all the confirmation we need that their friendship is on the rocks!

On Domenica’s TikTok video announcing the end of Sit With Us, fans took to the comment section to question why Ella was so nonchalant about the cancellation of their podcast.
“So weird that Ella isn’t saying anything,” one user wrote. “Dom seems so heartbroken, and Ella’s just… not saying anything! It’s so sad.”
Domenica simply responded with a sad emoji, hinting that she agreed with the comment.
Another fan wrote, ” It hurts my heart. You seem to be really trying to finish this chapter in a kind way.”
“I’m trying,” Domenica responded. Hmm…
Ella also posted a video on TikTok dancing around her home, captioned: “You’re just living under your rock and loving it”.
“Wait, did she and Dom stop being friends?” one fan enquired.
“All of these comments are so entertaining. How do you all think you know my life and the stuff that goes on?” Ella clapped back.
Another user suggested that maybe the rumours wouldn’t be circulating if Ella “addressed” them.
“Address what, honey?” Ella retorted. Oh boy…

Domenica recently posted a Reel on Instagram captioned “This isn’t goodbye”, recapping the highlights from Sit With Us.
One snarky fan took to the comments section to shade Ella, writing: “TBH, I think she could’ve supported you more when you went to get help for your mental health.
“Not one word was uttered by her unless I missed it. To me, a true friend sticks by you no matter what. All the best chick.”
Domenica then liked this comment, which, on social media, definitely means something fishy is going on behind the scenes!
Domenica did tag Ella in the video, but she did not like it, comment on it, or share it at the time of writing.

Ella made a statement in the Sit With Us Facebook group after the podcast ended, yet she made no direct reference to her best friend and co-host, Domenica.
“We’ve both worked so hard for these amazing couple of years, and we couldn’t have done it without all of you,” she penned, thanking fans for their support.
She then wrote a personal thank you to the group’s admin and “queen of moderating”, Amelia Kirkhope.
“Thank you for being an OG and keeping the wildfires somewhat tamed and controlled. We love you, and so does everyone in the group,” she added.
And where’s the same love for Domenica? Very telling…

Recently, Domenica wiped all pics from Ella’s April 5 wedding to Guy Palermo from her Instagram grid.
In addition, the duo hasn’t been posting any pics together recently. They also haven’t been liking or commenting on each other’s Instagram posts since Domenica returned to social media after visiting a mental health facility.
The last time Domenica posted Ella on TikTok was back in April, whilst Ella hasn’t shared a clip with her bestie since May. Both their last posts with each other were promoting their former podcast.
They also deleted their Sit With Us Instagram and TikTok pages.
Ella makes cryptic comments about Domenica
When Ella broke her silence about her podcast ending on August 9, she was quite vague about her friendship with Domenica.
“There are no issues with Dom and I. There are no problems,” she told her Instagram followers.
“It’s just a chapter closing, and that’s okay. All good things come to an end. But it’s exciting, it’s positive, and we’re both so grateful for everything.”
And it’s unclear whether she was referencing their podcast or friendship (or both) when stating that “all good things come to an end”…
