FBOY Island Australia host Abbie Chatfield has finally hard-launched her boyfriend, Adam Hyde, even though we ALL knew about their relationship for months.

In March, Abbie told her podcast listeners that she’s in a “really healthy” relationship and dropped some not-so-subtle clues about her new bae’s identity.

Despite not naming names, it became clear to fans that the reality TV queen was dating Adam Hyde, who’s one-half of the electronic music duo Peking Duk. He also performs solo under the stage name Keli Holiday.

After teasing fans with a series of soft (or semi-soft) launch snaps, the Bachelor breakout star finally revealed the identity of her new man during part one of the June 3 episode of her It’s a Lot podcast.

“Okay, guys, here’s Adam, my boyfriend. I think you all know this by now,” Abbie started her episode.

“We’re so in love, and we love talking about it.” Our hearts!

The TV personality explained that she met her new partner when interviewing him for her radio show in 2022. However, it took them almost a year to properly spark their romance.

“We’d see each other, and we’d make out, and we’d not talk afterwards,” Abbie recalled, whilst Adam chimed in: “It never lined up because it was never opened up to that.”

After a couple of months, the pair finally got intimate, but Abbie described the sex as “nothing crazy”.

However, a few weeks later, everything changed after Abbie went to one of Adam’s gigs.

“I mean everything kind of changed in that next day and night,” he gushed.

“Yeah, we sat by the pool and drank margaritas, and then the sex went crazy,” Abbie smiled.

From that point onwards, the pair found themselves falling in love.

“I never saw this coming, but here I am. Abbie, I think you’re so kind and caring and intelligent and incredibly beautiful in a million different ways,” Adam told his girlfriend.

“You make me feel so safe and so calm all the time,” Abbie responded.

Later in the episode, Adam revealed that he was “scared to love again”. However, upon falling for Abbie, he became “fearlessly open to everything”.

“Not only are we so in love, but we also have a really healthy relationship,” Abbie finished. And we’re not crying; you are!

Abbie Chatfield’s boyfriend, Adam Hyde, opens up about his cancer diagnosis

During part two of the June 3 It’s a Lot episode, Adam also opened up about his recent skin cancer diagnosis.

“I get a phone call from the Australian Skin Cancer Clinic, and the receptionist said I have a procedure booked in for tomorrow due to the results,” the musician explained.

“I hadn’t been given the results, so I was confused. And I thought it was serious, and it was melanoma.”

However, the doctor told Adam that he had a “double cancer in [his] neck”, not melanoma.

“I’m going to get the full surgical treatment done. We’ll be sweet,” he said before urging listeners to get their skin checked.
