FBOY Island Australia host Abbie Chatfield has threatened legal action against someone for failing to pay her back “thousands of dollars” of money owed to her.
On December 29, The Bachelor breakout star took to Instagram with a SPICY Story, calling out a mystery person for owing her dosh.
“[That feeling when] someone owes you thousands of dollars claiming they can’t afford to pay you back but they go on an overseas trip,” the caption read. Ouch!
In a follow-up Story, Abbie also explained that she was looking to “take legal action”.
She then asked followers to get in touch if they had “experience taking someone to court for a small claim” under $20,000.
Whilst The Masked Singer panellist didn’t name and shame the culprit, Influencer Updates AU Instagram account speculated that the person in question was an ex.
“There’s been longstanding rumours that an ex owes her money for a Euro trip they took together,” the influencer watchdog wrote. Juicy!
The Bachelorette’s Konrad Bien-Stephen allegedly owes Abbie Chatfield money
To add fuel to the fire, it’s been alleged that Abbie’s ex Konrad Bien-Stephen is the person who owes her money.
As revealed during the December 14 episode of So Dramatic! EXTRA, the REAL reason Abbie and Konrad’s split was because he owed her tens of thousands of dollars from a Europe trip, one source claimed.
“Abbie paid for everything [on their holiday] and he never coughed up the money to pay her back because he wasn’t working,” one source told So Dramatic!. “He owes her tens of thousands of dollars from when they were together.”
They added: “She got the ick because he was being a sponge and living off her without contributing anything or having any real drive or motivation in life.” Eep!
