With tensions growing between them and breakup rumours circulating, we’ve investigated whether The Block 2024‘s Kylie and Brad Baker are still together.
Before the show started airing, an insider told Daily Mail Australia that they wouldn’t be surprised if multiple couples from the current season of the hit renovation show broke up before auction day, naming Kylie and Brad as a potential pair set to part ways.
And it seems they *may* have been on the money!
The Block‘s Kylie & Brad BROKE UP after filming
As revealed in episode 414 of the So Dramatic! podcast, the married couple, who have been together for nine years and share four kids, are set to quit the show towards the end after a “huge blowup.”
Despite staying together whilst on the show, sources told So Dramatic! that the couple broke up “not long after filming”.
“They’ve completely separated,” the insider dished. “Brad’s moved out of their home, and things aren’t amicable, making things difficult and awkward for the publicity team.” Yikes.
The Block‘s Kylie BUSTS Brad cheating with co-star
As revealed by So Dramatic!, the real reason the couple QUIT The Block was because Kylie caught Brad cheating with co-star Mimi Belperio, which cut deep considering he’d allegedly also cheated before their stint on the show.
An insider told So Dramatic! that Brad and Mimi “didn’t hook up”, but they did something that “crossed a line” in Kylie’s eyes.
“Towards the end of the season, around week eight, the cast were having drinks, lots of drinks actually,” the insider recalled.
“Kylie walked in on Brad in a compromising position with Mimi. They weren’t doing anything physical. They were flirting and being a little too friendly. But the fact everyone was drunk didn’t help the situation.”
Even though he didn’t “physically cheat” on Kylie, it “triggered emotions” because of his past infidelity, causing her to “overreact”.
Are The Block‘s Kylie & Brad still together?
However, Woman’s Day revealed that the duo have been trying to resolve their issues.
“Brad and Kylie are still living together,” one insider said. “They’ve been going through a tough time, and their relationship status when the show ends is undetermined.”
“It’s going to be hard to relive that nightmare when it plays out on screen. There are wounds that have not had time to heal.”
The Block‘s Kylie & Brad are ‘working on their relationship’
So Dramatic! obtained similar information, with sources revealing that Kylie and Brad have been “working on their relationship” and are “trying to get back together for the sake of their kids”.
“About four weeks ago, Brad moved back into their home, which is a good sign of the progress they’ve made,” one insider dished.
According to the source, while The Block “challenged and tested” the duo’s relationship, they were already on “rocky ground” before their stint on TV because of Brad’s past infidelity.
“They’ve been working on repairing things from the ground up, so maybe it was what they needed to build a stronger relationship moving forward and fix the cracks,” they added. Let’s hope it works!
The Block’s Kylie and Brad look cosy in recent snap
On October 18, the Kilcunda Ocean View Hotel in Victoria shared a snap on Instagram of one of their employees alongside The Block couple and the show’s carpenter, Zak Sydenham.
“Our young gun, Riley, was a tad starstruck today when The Block contestants Brad and Kylie popped into the Killy Pub for a couple of cold ones on the deck,” they captioned the post.
And the pair look pretty cosy, so we think this is confirmation they’re back together!
