The Block 2024‘s Kylie and Brad Baker have reportedly gotten back together following their rumoured breakup.
As revealed by So Dramatic!, the couple, who’ve been together for nine years, married for seven and share four kids, completely separated after quitting the show at the end of the season.
So Dramatic! also reported that the pair split after Brad cheated on Kylie with Mimi Belperio during a drunken cast night out, which cut deep as he had allegedly cheated on her shortly before entering the show.
Despite this, as revealed in episode 423 of the So Dramatic! podcast, Kylie and Brad have since been “working on their relationship” and are “trying to get back together for the sake of their kids”.
“Brad moved out of their shared family home, and they were separated from the end of filming until quite recently,” one insider dished.
“About four weeks ago, he moved back into their home, which is a good sign of the progress they’ve made.”
According to the source, while The Block “challenged and tested” the duo’s relationship, they were already on “rocky ground” before their stint on TV because of Brad’s past infidelity.
“They’ve been working on repairing things from the ground up, so maybe it was what they needed to build a stronger relationship moving forward and fix the cracks,” they added.
The Block‘s Kylie has been struggling amid public backlash
The source also explained that Kylie has been struggling to repair her relationship whilst navigating the commentary from the public.
“It’s been tough on them both, particularly Kylie, who has been copping the brunt of the backlash from fans who don’t know the full story or understand why she was being so hostile to Brad,” they added.
“That’s why they haven’t done any media for the show. They also haven’t been a couple recently, so if they did interviews, it would’ve been obvious they weren’t together.”
The source claimed the publicity team didn’t want to “spoil” the show’s outcome because they’d planned to make the cheating scandal with Mimi “a huge storyline”.
“Kylie has been extremely anxious about reliving it all when it plays out on screen. It’s not going to be easy for her,” they added. And our hearts go out to her!
