The names of the Aussie cast members taking on Survivor Australia v The World have been leaked and we are SO keen!
According to Yahoo Lifestyle, Survivor is on track to becoming Channel Ten’s “new flagship program,” with “two massive seasons” set to come out next year.
The first season, titled Brains vs. Brawn II, will feature a group of “newbie players”. The second will be an “all-stars showdown” with players from across the globe called Australia v The World.
On September 16, the official Survivor Australia page revealed the first three Aussie players for the all-stars series, and boy, are they icons!
Two-time star George Mladenov, three-time competitor Shonee Bowtell and Titans v Rebels fave Kirby Bentley will be battling it out on the global stage.
While the network has yet to officially announce the rest of the contestants, a cheeky insider leaked the cast list to Yahoo Lifestyle in October.
Who are the Aussie contestants on Survivor Australia v The World?
As previously rumoured, Australian Survivor: All Stars 2020 winner David Genat is confirmed to appear on Australia v The World.
“When he heard who was playing, he moved heaven and earth to get to Samoa,” the source said, revealing David was a last-minute addition.
Meanwhile, Boost Juice founder and Champions v Contenders II star Janine Allis is also tipped to appear after her season’s winner, Pia Miranda, declined an offer to compete.
In recent months, it’s been suggested there were “a few problematic reasons” as to why two-time Survivor star Luke Toki wouldn’t return.
However, Yahoo‘s insider said that the “people’s champion” — who also won Big Brother VIP 2021 — is back for a third stint.
“There was no doubt the show needed Luke to return this season after winning over audiences in his first two seasons,” they said.
Lastly, Luke’s co-star Sarah Tilleke will also make a comeback on Survivor v The World.
Who else is appearing on Survivor Australia v The World?
It comes after Paramount ANZ confirmed that Cirie Fields, Parvati Shallow, and Tony Vlachos will play for the US.
It’s also been rumoured that controversial star Jonny Fairplay will also return.
Bring it on!
