The OG series was scrapped in 2018 after four seasons, but despite its short run, viewers fell in love with the cutthroat business series.
Now, longtime fans are chomping at the bit for its return, so here’s what you need to know about Shark Thank Australia 2023.
How does Shark Tank Australia work?
In case you’re new to the biz, Aussie entrepreneurs pitch their business ideas, companies and products to a panel of investors. A.K.A. the “Sharks”.
The Sharks will then decide whether to invest their cold, hard cash in the businesses.
However, we’d be lying if we said we don’t love it when they tear the not-so-fab ideas to shreds!
Who are the new Sharks on Shark Tank Australia?
The previous run of Shark Tank Australia featured a panel of tech entrepreneur Steve Baxter, Boost Juice founder Janine Allis, HR mogul Andrew Banks, RedBalloon founder Naomi Simson and Greencross vet founder Glen Richards.
This time around, the panel has had a bit of a facelift.

The 2023 season of Shark Tank Australia kicks off at 7.30 pm on Tuesday, August 29, only on 10 and 10 Play on Demand.
