Australian Survivor favourite Pia Miranda has revealed the only reason she would return to the hit survival series.
The Looking For Alibrandi actress captured the hearts of fans and her co-stars when she won Survivor in 2019.
As such, people have been wondering if she’ll ever return to the show like many of her fellow alumni have.
Chatting to Yahoo! Lifestyle at the 2023 ARIA Awards, Pia said it all comes down to long-time US host Jeff Probst and if he invited her to appear on an international season.
“I’ll do anything for Jeff Probst,” the 50-year-old said. “I mean, he’s the reason I am who I am today.
“I mean, he’s the reason I am who I am today.”
She added that while she loves Australian Survivor host Jonathan LaPaglia, she couldn’t be persuaded to appear on the local series ever again.
“No offence, like JLP’s unreal, but I ain’t going back to Australian Survivor,” Pia confessed.
“Australian Survivor’s 50 days, American Survivor’s 26. Like, do the math.”
And she is soooo real for that!
Australian Survivor 2024 returns with a brand-new theme
In October, Channel Ten announced Australian Survivor is returning in 2024 with a spicy new theme of Titans vs Rebels.
But what’s that, we hear you ask? Look, the details are lacking, but we can only guess it’s akin to another theme that has previously featured in the global franchise: David vs Goliath.
Based on the biblical tale of the same name, contestants were separated into two camps, typically characterised as underdogs and overachievers.
So, if Titans vs Rebels is going to run in the same vein, we can expect it to be VERY intense.
