Channel Nine has confirmed the host of Love Island Australia 2024 after Skye Wheatley was rumoured to replace long-time host Sophie Monk.

Thanks to the trustworthy folks over at the Daily Mail Australia, rumours were circling that I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! Australia 2024 winner Skye was “first in line” to host the hit dating series, as Nine was considering Sophie to host a new show, The Floor.

However, this decision was reportedly scrapped after Skye “drastically changed her appearance” after her recent surgeries.

After seemingly confirming the speculation she’d been dropped by Nine by posting “rejection is redirection” to her Story, Skye denied the “clickbait” rumours, claiming she was never considered to host the popular series.

In a statement to Yahoo Lifestyle, Nine confirmed that Sophie, who’d been hosting the show since 2018, would return for the 2024 season.

The outlet also spilled that Nine wanted The Traitors host Rodger Corser to front The Floor. The more you know!
