Married at First Sight Australia 2024‘s Lucinda Light has landed a role in a new dating show alongside Geordie Shore royalty Vicky Pattison.
After becoming a fan favourite on the marriage experiment, the self-proclaimed “earth mama” will team up with Vicky for the UK reality dating show The Honesty Box. And this is the reality TV crossover we did not see coming!
Lucinda will help a group of singles find love in an idyllic location named ‘Truetopia’, where they’ll have the chance to mingle and form connections.
However, there’s a twist! Participants will have to face an AI software called the ‘Honesty Box’ that will ask them deep, candid questions about their feelings. And if they lie, they’ll lose out on a share of £100,000!
And it sounds like a mix between Love Island, Too Hot To Handle and Love Never Lies. Sign us up!
Unlike other dating shows, The Honesty Box encourages participants to be open and honest. And after fans begged for her to become a MAFS expert, we couldn’t think of a better person to help these singles than Lucinda!
The former MAFS bride took to Instagram on August 22 to share the news, writing: “We’re headed to Truetopia to encourage a whole bunch of gorgeous singles to be their most authentic selves in paradise.
“Will be a whole lotta fun, I reckon, and I can’t wait to reveal what my role is.” And that makes two of us!
MAFS’ Lucinda is ‘passionate’ about helping people find ‘meaningful connections’ on The Honesty Box
After embarking on her own “radical journey to find love”, Lucinda told Channel 4 UK that she “deeply empathised” with the “brave cast of singles”.
“I’m passionate about the importance of truth and authenticity in building strong relationships,” the 43-year-old said.
“My goal is to guide our divine daters in making meaningful connections by encouraging them to share openly and honestly with one another, especially as they face the Honesty Box in Truetopia.”
