In April, it was revealed that Jesse and Paige left the show “on their own accord” before week six, and a new team was brought in to replace them.
Now, insiders have told Yahoo Lifestyle the surprising reason the couple decided to quit.
“Jesse and Paige asked themselves a real question: Is the chance of making money worth risking their relationship?” they spilled.
“Channel Nine gave them the go-ahead to leave the show after heated exchanges on their hot microphones. It was a tough decision, but Jesse and Paige believe Australia will embrace their decision positively.” Interesting…

According to the source, Jesse and Paige’s relationship became “pretty toxic” due to the pressures of the show.
“They make the right decision, but the jury is out on how Australia will feel with their overall time on the show being quite polarising,” they added.
It comes after reports circulated that MULTIPLE couples from the current season were tipped to break up before the auctions.
“I think at least three out of the five new teams will be quite horrified at their behaviour,” one source claimed.
“A lot of their behaviour is quite polarising. I wouldn’t be surprised if not all the couples make it to the auction without splitting.”
