Love Island Australia 2022‘s Phoebe Spiller has confirmed Mitch Eliot was the one to end their relationship following leaked details of their split.
The dating show runner-ups shocked fans on July 29 when they announced in separate statements that they’d parted ways after nearly two years together.
At the time, Phoebe revealed she and her former boyfriend “wanted different things,” while Mitch confessed they “need time to grow as [their] own people.”
Their breakup had fans wondering WTF went down between the pair, considering Mitch had gotten a tattoo of Phoebe’s initials just months earlier.
So Dramatic! previously reported that Mitch was the one to call time on their relationship.
Phoebe has now confirmed these rumours to be true in a light-hearted TikTok.
In the clip, the reality star rolled around in the street beside the caption: “When I thought I was getting a[n engagement ring] but I got dumped on a random Thursday.” Ouch.

Insiders exclusively told So Dramatic! before the couple’s breakup was announced that Mitch had been “kicked out of Phoebe’s place”.
“It happened the day after his birthday, and Phoebe returned to Melbourne to see her family,” a source said.
“I was told that Mitch wanted to be single and was the one to call things off.”
It comes after Phoebe asked her TikTok followers if they had any advice for dealing with heartbreak, confessing she felt “so alone”.
So Dramatic! has contacted Mitch and Phoebe for comment.
