Married at First Sight Australia 2024‘s Lauren Dunn has revealed the groom producers tried to make her have a cheating scandal with, and it’s the last person we expected!
From Jonathan McCullough and Ellie Dix to Sara Mesa and her ex, to Stephen Stewart and his hairdresser, and Jack Dunkley and the girl he dumped for the show, the 2024 season of MAFS was FULL of cheating.
During her tell-all in episode 407 of the So Dramatic! podcast, Lauren admitted that she thought producers were trying to create ANOTHER cheating scandal between herself and Timothy Smith.
“At the beginning, I was convinced the producers were trying to set Timothy and me up in a cheating scandal,” the former bride told host Megan Pustetto.
“Every time I’d go to the gym, or anywhere, he’d be there. Production would know where each of us would be, so you couldn’t go to the gym if someone else was going there.”
The marketing and PR consultant said she was “paranoid” producers would make it seem like they were “having an affair”, so she even told her hubby Jonathan about it.

To add fuel to the fire, producers also asked Lauren lots of questions about Timothy’s TV wife, Lucinda Light.
“They kept asking me about Lucinda, and Lucinda said they were asking her about me too,” Lauren added.
“It was almost like they were trying to pit us against each other. But they realised that they weren’t going to get anything bitchy about the other girls from me.”
