Australian Idol judge Kyle Sandilands has finally revealed his yearly radio salary, and it’s even higher than we thought it’d be!
In October 2023, reports circulated that the shock jock and his co-host Jackie O Henderson were signing a joint $200 million 10-year deal with KIIS FM, which could see them earning a combined $230 million by the end of it, including revenue and incentives.
During the Kyle & Jackie O Show on August 9, Kyle revealed that these rumours weren’t exactly true.
“I can’t live with the lie. It’s underreported. It’s actually about another $50 million each,” he admitted. Holy sh*t!
This means the duo will each be taking home $15 million a year instead of the previously reported $10 million, so they’ll bring in at least $300 million by 2034. Wowza!
According to Yahoo Lifestyle, the pair’s new contract is said to be the “biggest deal in Australian media history”.

Kyle also shared some insight into the salaries of other radio personalities in Australia, stating that popular hosts Hamish Blake and Andy Lee each make $4 million a year, whilst Brendan Fevola makes $1.2 million.
And in Kyle and Jackie’s case, it looks like being controversial pays well!
