Wild claims have emerged that Love Island Australia 2023 star Lucinda Strafford‘s mum has been “harassing” her daughter’s ex, Zac Nunns.
It’s no secret that Lucinda and Zac have had a tumultuous relationship since finding love on the fifth season of the dating show’s Aussie version.
From becoming boyfriend and girlfriend in the villa to a messy split that saw cheating claims thrown in Zac’s direction, fans have been lapping up the drama every step of the way.
While Lucinda has since moved on with DJ Nathan Dawe (whom Zac claims she was messaging while they were together), Zac has taken to his Snapchat Story to share that her mum, Nancy, isn’t ready to let him off the hook just yet.
“Has anyone else been harassed by their ex-partner’s mum?” he questioned fans. “Honestly, like Martha from Baby Reindeer, it’s so weird and uncomfortable.”
ICYMI: Martha is the antagonist in the Netflix series Baby Reindeer, which documents a comedian’s struggle with being stalked.
In a follow-up post, Zac wrote, “My mum could never [harass someone]. But to be fair, Baby Reindeer was set in the UK, so maybe there’s been some crossover collaborations between them.”

Zac also shared a series of online comments Nancy had made about him on his Snapchat Story, including one filtered TikTok comment reading: “This is tooooo gay!!”
Nancy also privately DM’d Zac after he shared an Instagram Story of him and Trent Woolman asking, “Are you together now?”.
When one fan wrote on TikTok that “Lucinda broke [Zac’s] heart” in February, Nancy told them not to “be ridiculous”.
“Have a reality check!”
In May, she later claimed that Lucinda “never lies” in response to a user raising suspicion that Lucinda “cheated” on Zac.
Nancy also left two separate comments, one in February and one in April, on the same TikTok shared by So Dramatic! about Zac and Lucinda’s plans to move in together when they were still dating.
In the February comment, she penned: “Sorry… who said Zac could move in? No one mentioned it to me????”
The April comment saw Lucinda’s mum remind people that Love Island “finished a long time ago”.
“Just remember… She has never said, written or posted anything against him out of respect for them both,” she penned.

Zac also shared a screenshot of a message he sent Nancy on March 11, asking that she “be kind” moving forward.
“Hey Nancy, I’ve seen all your comments today,” he wrote. “No hate on my side, and actually, despite everything, I still love you guys and hope nothing but the best for all of you.
“Please, let’s just be kind with one another going forward.”
The screenshot shows that the message was seen on March 15. However, Nancy left Zac on read.
A source says it’s ‘bizarre’ that Lucinda Strafford’s mum is still ‘getting involved’ in drama with Zac Nunns
A source close to Zac told So Dramatic! that Lucinda‘s mum has “continued to comment negatively” about Zac on social media.
“She comments on his friends’ posts, messages him asking if he’s gay and just saying negative stuff,” they claimed.
“Before he went live with his podcast explaining his side of the story, she messaged him, warning him not to.”
The insider maintained that Zac has “no problems” with Lucinda’s family and “hopes they’re okay”.
“Lucinda’s moved on, and he’s moving on too, so it’s just bizarre that the mum is getting involved still,” the source said.
“Hope the mum gets some help.”

The insider also told So Dramatic! that it was “hard” for Zac to cop cheating allegations when “she knew what really went down” within their relationship.
“There was a video of her going around in the UK being all over a guy that was well worse than any videos of Zac,” they claimed, adding that the Islander learned she was talking to now-bae Nathan in October 2023.
In a video shared on TikTok in October, Lucinda danced and partied with Roman Hackett at a Pretty Little Thing Halloween event.

When asked why Lucinda didn’t defend Zac amid the backlash, the source said she “loved using it against him”.
“Whenever stuff about her came out, she would remind Zac that nobody could trust the media,” they said. “She would also keep all the nasty comments about him on her posts.
“It was just feeding into her image of being a sweetheart.”
The insider said it wasn’t until Lucinda’s management confirmed that she was dating Nathan that Zac “realised he was being gaslit the whole time”.
“He knew he needed to speak up because he was getting so much hate.”
It comes after Zac told his fans in April that his “chapter has closed” with Lucinda.
So Dramatic! contacted Lucinda and her mother via her management, but they declined to comment.
