Love Island Australia 2023‘s Lucinda Strafford has broken her silence on her breakup with Zac Nunns after he announced their split.
After several telling clues that the controversial couple had called it quits, Zac took to Instagram on February 11 to confirm the speculation.
“Lucinda and I have decided to go our separate ways,” he penned. “I’m not feeling too good about the situation and appreciate all the support so far.”

Lucinda has since addressed the split on her public Snapchat account, which was then shared to Reddit, after a fan messaged her about the split.
“I was checking you were ok. I don’t think Zac has handled the situation well,” the original message read. “You can do so much better.”
Lucinda went on to thank her fans for their support, confessing: “I’ve decided to deal with things a little differently, and keep myself to myself holding my head high [sic].
“Thank you to everyone sending me pics/videos of things and having my back,” she added, possibly referring to clips of Zac looking “steamy” with other women in recent months.
The 23-year-old concluded her post by teasing that she’ll “speak more openly about the situation” once she “feel[s] like the time is right”.

Lucinda’s statement comes as Zac continues to share content on social media, in what appears to be a bizarre tribute to his ex.
Zac shared a post on February 13 of himself in Paris, originally captioned: “November 4th… Merci Paris x.”
As one fan pointed out on Reddit, November 4 is Lucinda’s birthday. After leaving a comment highlighting this, they said their note was deleted and Zac’s caption was edited.
It now reads: “November memories… Merci Paris x.”
Meanwhile, on his Snapchat Story, the Islander shared a photo of him and Lucinda in front of the Arc de Triomphe.
“I feel like it’s kinda stupid that I have to pretend like Lucinda wasn’t there,” he wrote. “It was such a good trip and we had SO much fun.”
Sounds like the breakup wasn’t too mutual, hey?
