Love Island Australia 2023‘s Zac Nunns has spoken out after rumours circulated that he has broken up with his co-star and girlfriend Lucinda Strafford.
ICYMI: Rumours have been circling that Zac and Lucinda had split after fans noticed they hadn’t posted each other on social media in a while. Plus, the Islander was spied looking “steamy” with a woman who wasn’t his UK bae…
However, Zac has since taken to Snapchat to confirm that the couple is still going strong since leaving the Love Island villa.
“Guys, don’t believe everything you see on TikTok or any comments unless you hear it come from me,” he wrote. “So much speculation at the moment, but everything is good here!”
After a fan sent their love, he also posted a follow-up Story to Snapchat.
“The internet does weird things to people, and they speculate on stuff they aren’t part of,” he added. “Things here are good and better than ever.”
Why did Love Island fans think Zac Nunns and Lucinda Strafford had broken up?
Speculation that the lovebirds had split began when fans noticed that the pair weren’t posting on social media with each other.
More sh*t hit the fan when an eagle-eyed netizen took to the So Dramatic! Communi-TEA Facebook group, stating that the pair had allegedly unfollowed each other for a couple of hours.
However, people quickly realised the couple were both in the same place at the same time.
Neon MGMT even posted snaps of the duo at the agency’s New Year’s party, and they still looked cosy AF!
But we’re not entirely convinced coz’ on January 16, one Redditor even speculated that Lucinda and Zac were about to orchestrate a “fake breakup”.
“Earlier in December, [Zac told Trent Woolman] that Lucinda was coming to Australia for about a month… They’re going to orchestrate a fake breakup so she can appear as a Bombshell on Love Island All-Stars UK.” And we’re shooketh!
UK star Lucinda also added fuel to the fire when she told her Snapchat followers that she was leaving her Australia trip early because she hadn’t been “feeling herself” and needed a “hug from [her] mum”.
So the jury’s still out on this one…
