Love Island Australia 2023s Lucinda Strafford has spilled behind-the-scenes tea from the explosive Movie Night antics and we’re hurting for her.

During the November 30 episode, the Islanders found out shocking truths about each other when they watched back moments that unfolded behind their backs.

However, things were looking really bad for Lucinda’s bae Zac Nunns, who’d been sh*t talking everyone in the villa, including his partner.

“I looked at the list [of movie titles] and thought, ‘Oh, this is going to be such a fun night, there’s literally going to be nothing to do with me and Zac’,” Lucinda told Refinery29.

“But most of them had to do with the fact that Zac [had] done something behind my back,” she added.

“Honestly, I ended that night not in the way that I thought I started it.” Yikes.

Love Island‘s Lucinda Strafford admits she’d have given Nate a chance if it weren’t for Zac’s lies

During the horrifying clips, Zac told Lucinda that Nate Page wasn’t interested in her even though this wasn’t true.

However, the Love Island UK 2021 star admitted that she would’ve given Nate a chance if it weren’t for Zac’s lies.

“If I knew that he was lying, I definitely wouldn’t have kissed [Zac],” she confessed. “I would’ve gone and spoken to Nate and heard him out.”

She added: “I didn’t think Zac would lie about that sort of thing… But actually, looking at movie night, I felt sorry for Nate.” And sis, we feel you!

Lucinda reacts to Zac saying she needs to be ‘TRAINED’ and taken to ‘PUPPY SCHOOL’

Another shocking moment that was played at Movie Night was when Zac said Lucinda “needed training” and should’ve been taken to “puppy school”.

Many viewers took to social media to call out the “toxic masculinity” exhibited in that moment.

Lucinda admitted that whilst she struggled to stand up for herself, she felt so “angry” and “betrayed” in that moment that she couldn’t help but call Zac’s behaviour out.

“I think a lot of the viewers aren’t liking Zac and Trent [Woolman] at the moment,” she told Refinery29.

“It’s schoolboy behaviour… I feel like they weren’t really taking things seriously and [were] lying to get their own way.”

Lucinda defends Zac against his portrayal on Love Island

Despite his “toxic” portrayal on the show, Lucinda revealed that Zac is totally different IRL.

“He’s the most kind, caring person. It’s so funny how someone can be painted like that,” she said.

She then defended some of his on-screen behaviour, claiming he acted this way because he’s a bit of a class clown.

“Zac [always says] his favourite thing to do is to make people laugh. Sometimes I feel like he just wants to be the loudest person in the room,” she explained. “But it offends other people.”

Lucinda then said Zac was a tad misunderstood.

“It’s funny seeing the way Zac is when I’m not there when he’s with the boys,” she added. “But I know Zac well enough. He doesn’t have bad intentions.

“I feel like he’s a very Marmite character. You either love him or you hate him. And I feel like a lot of people aren’t his biggest fan at the moment, but he’s actually not a bad person.” And it sounds like she’s even trying to convince herself!

Rumours have been swirling that the pair are still together after they were spotted having a PDA sesh in London in November.
