Married at First Sight Australia 2024‘s Sara Mesa has revealed when and why her feud with Cassandra Allen started – and it all makes sense now!
During the explosive Reunion, Cassandra called Sara “fake” in an attack that seemed to come out of nowhere.
Whilst we barely saw their beef play out on-screen, So Dramatic! previously reported that the brides shared several tense moments that were left on the cutting room floor, including Sara calling Cassandra a “c*nt” behind her back. Yikes.
During part one of her tell-all on the So Dramatic! podcast, Sara explained the source of the tension between herself and the administration officer.

Sara explained that the feud started after she cancelled a date set up by Tim Calwell because she was “too hungover”.
“I felt bad because I’d cancelled on him before. He said: ‘Of course, don’t worry about it.’ But he was acting like he wasn’t fine,” she told host Megan Pustetto.
However, when she asked Tim what was wrong and whether he wanted to talk about it, he told her he was going for a walk with Cassandra and her hubby, Tristan Black.
“This is probably where Cass’s hatred started,” Sara recalled. “Tim would’ve vented about me cancelling three dates”. And it’s all starting to make sense!

During part three of Sara’s tell all, she detailed another tense exchange with Cassandra which never made it to air.
In an unseen moment from the Reunion, Jade Pywell exposed Tim for having a Tinder profile, despite still being with Sara at the time.
Tim explained that he only had the account as he worked in marketing and needed statistics, which Sara believed.
However, things took a turn after Jonathan McCullough then spilled that Tim said he’d have made a different decision at Final Vows if he had more time to think it over. Ouch.
“I started crying… Then Cass started laughing,” Sara recalled. “Lauren [Dunn] asked: ‘What are you laughing about?’ and Cass said: ‘You guys are just so hilarious. I find you all entertainment’.”
Sara then claimed that producers didn’t air Cassandra’s snarky comment because it didn’t fit her pure storyline.
“[Producers] didn’t want her to be that person. And they wanted her to have an intuition that I was fake.” Big yikes!
Does Married at First Sight‘s Sara think Cassandra had a CRUSH on Tim?
After Cassandra defended Tim all season, fans speculated that she may’ve had a crush on him.
When asked to share her thoughts on the situation, Sara said she wasn’t sure.
“I don’t know. I can’t confirm or deny,” she spilled. “They spent time together off camera but not just the two of them. Maybe, I don’t know.” Interesting…
