Married at First Sight Australia 2024‘s Lauren Dunn has shared her thoughts about Jonathan McCullough and Ellie Dix‘s cheating scandal.
If you’re new here, Jonathan was caught texting Ellie, whom he’s dating IRL, whilst he was still in the marriage experiment with his on-screen wife Lauren.
Speaking to Daily Mail Australia, Lauren broke her silence about the pair’s relationship.

“I couldn’t be happier for Jono,” she gushed. “Me and him were forced to be together; we didn’t choose each other, and we gave it our absolute all.”
The PR and marketing consultant said she was happy the couple “found love” because she and Jono “didn’t have that”.
“They’re great together. I couldn’t [root for] them harder, to be honest,” she said. And we love a mature queen!

When Jonathan and Ellie’s flirty texts were revealed during the March 24 Commitment Ceremony, Lauren was justifiably upset.
However, she told Daily Mail Australia that her reaction was partly to do with her past relationship traumas.
“It triggered old things that happened in the past. So I was really emotional about it,” she explained.
Lauren then admitted that even without the cheating scandal, she still wasn’t sure whether her relationship with Jonathan would’ve gone the distance.
“I don’t think things would’ve been any better if [the texting] didn’t come out because we [only had a few consistently good weekends], and that’s just not going to last in the real world,” she said.
And TBH, she deserves someone who worships her like the queen she is!
