Married at First Sight Australia 2024‘s Lauren Dunn was rushed to hospital during filming and was absent for an entire week of the marriage experiment. And we don’t know if we can endure a dinner party without her!

As revealed in episode 363 of the So Dramatic! podcast, the fan-favourite bride unfortunately had to fly home to Perth for a medical emergency.

“Lauren missed a whole week of filming, including a Commitment Ceremony and Dinner Party,” one production insider told So Dramatic!.

“She had to have emergency surgery on her arm for a blood clot or something, so she flew back home.”

And is there any point watching the show without Lauren and her iconic one-liners?

The source continued: “The timing couldn’t have been worse as it was the first Dinner Party after the cheating scandal came out. Sara [Mesa] got confronted by the group again, and she had no one there to support her.

“And Timothy [Smith] had to rip into Jack [Dunkley] on his own as Lauren was away.” And despite missing a soldier, we’re sure Timothy still won the battle!

MAFS’ Lauren and Jonathan make it to Final Vows

Despite Jonathan McCullough and Ellie Dix‘s spicy cheating scandal, we’ve heard that Jonathan and Lauren stick MAFS out ’til the end.

“The week before Homestays, Lauren was back in Perth and stayed there until Jono met her there for Homestays,” our source dished. “Apparently, they had a really good Homestay and made it to Final Vows”.

And there you have it, folks!
