Married at First Sight Australia 2024‘s Stephen Stewart has revealed that Jonathan McCullough got the most inaccurate edit on the show and we are SHOOK.

While the intruder groom failed to find a spark with his match, Michael Felix, Stephen was present for a sh*t-ton of drama that unfolded during the 11th season of the experiment.

Now, we’ve all heard of participants criticising the show for giving them a “bad edit” (something producers have denied is a thing), Stephen has revealed that Jonathan was stitched up in the final cut.

“Jono has copped a very different edit and just in the sense of removing context,” he told Yahoo! Lifestyle.

“So everyone I’ve spoken to about Jono thinks he’s a very meek, quiet person, but he was probably one of the most vocal males at those dinner parties.”

Married at First Sight‘s Stephen Stewart says Jonathan McCullough ‘lost a whole portion of his personality’

Stephen added that Jonathan was “very opinionated” but “very calm in addressing those opinions”.

“The poor guy has lost a whole portion of his personality,” he said. “That’s definitely something I watch, and being at those dinner parties, the ones I was there for, I remember, like, ‘OK, now Jono is going to step in and say something?’ And it just wouldn’t happen.”

Now, this is HUGE, considering fans have repeatedly criticised Jonathan for not speaking up or backing his wife Lauren Dunn.

Stephen concluded: “I think the majority of the cast have got an accurate edit. It’s like heightened versions of what they actually were.”

However, we think Tori Adams would beg to differ after she slammed the show for making her look like a “victim” of Jack Dunkley‘s sh*t behaviour.
