Married at First Sight Australia 2023‘s Tahnee Cook has put an end to questions about her ex Ollie Skelton during a recent Instagram Q&A.
ICYMI: The pair had a very messy breakup back in December 2023, with rumours swirling that Ollie was inviting girls over and disrespecting Tahnee whilst they were still living together post-split.
Now, Tahnee has revealed where they stand nearly five months after they called time on their relationship.
When asked by a fan whether she still speaks to Ollie, Tahnee revealed she has “been getting this question a lot lately”.
“No I don’t keep in contact,” she wrote. “I’ve been really hurt by the things he’s done and said about me, so I don’t feel the need to have any communication anymore.
“He’s free to say whatever and I’m just happy to sit with my truth.”
Acknowledging that she’s been “pretty quiet” about their breakup, the 27-year-old said “it’s been intentional”.
“I’ve really found some peace in leaving things that aren’t for me behind,” she continued.
“It’s been around five months now since we broke up and I think it’s time we put this to bed. I’ve worked really hard to move on from this and that chapter of my life is very much closed.”

Speaking to Yahoo! in February, Tahnee explained that the duo merely went separate ways because they “clashed” in the real world.
“The stuff that we thought we were on the same page about during [the experiment]… In the real world, we discovered that we weren’t,” she confessed.

“When you’re in the experiment, you’re going about your day with no control. You don’t have your job, you’re just doing what the producers say.
“It’s very different to having a job, having a house… We were clashing in those sorts of areas and lifestyle things.”
