Married at First Sight Australia 2023‘s Tahnee Cook has updated her fans on her life following her breakup from Ollie Skelton.
The couple — who everyone was rooting for — took to Instagram on December 13 to announce they’d broken up, much to the dismay of MAFS fans worldwide.
While Tahnee vaguely admitted that “sometimes relationships just don’t work out”, Ollie said the couple struggled to adjust to life post-experiment after he moved to Sydney to be with his bae.
Over a month since announcing their breakup, Tahnee has taken to Instagram to fill in the gaps for fans.
When they split, it was revealed Tahnee and Ollie were still shacking up for the time being. However, the TV bride has said that’s since changed.
“Are you back living alone?” one fan asked during a Q&A, to which she replied, “Yes I am.”
When asked how she was doing “mentally”, Tahnee confessed she was “okay”.
“I really appreciate all the kind messages and thank you to everyone who’s reached out to ask how I am,” she wrote on her Story.
“I’ve had some crazy changes in the last year and a half, so just been adjusting and looking forward to what’s to come for me. Positive vibes always.”
Tahnee Cook responds to Married at First Sight contestants ‘complaining about the edit’
Ahead of the MAFS 2024 premiere, producers hit out at contestants who blame their bad behaviour on a “villain edit”.
In her Q&A, Tahnee was asked about these participants, though she didn’t feel like it was “entirely her place” to comment, given she “came out pretty unscathed from MAFS“.
“However, I can imagine how hard it would be for me personally if I truly felt like my edit wasn’t a fair representation of my character,” she wrote.
“At the end of the day, everyone on the show is human, and we could all really try and put ourselves in their shoes and just be a bit kinder.”
