A major storyline involving Jack Dunkley and his ex Courtney was cut from the latest Married at First Sight Australia 2024 dinner party.
While Jack and Tori’s update on their sex life was central to the March 20 dinner party, participants have dished that this wasn’t the biggest blunder of the night.
As reported in episode 365 of the So Dramatic! podcast, Jack reportedly REUNITED with his ex, Courtney (yes, the one he said was “crazy” and “disgruntled”) during and after filming!

According to one MAFS 2024 star, Jack “left the show for a couple of days to go to Melbourne” to visit his grandmother, who was reportedly dying.
“But guess what? He also flew Courtney down from the Gold Coast to go with him,” they claimed. “It all came out on the show, and Jack actually admitted to it.
“But nothing was adding up. He said it wasn’t a serious relationship, but then why would you take her to visit your dying grandma if it wasn’t serious?”
We mean… true!
They added: “It made no sense. Like, where is your wife? Why would you take your ex-girlfriend, whom you supposedly hate, with you if you are really into Tori [Adams] and are in a legit marriage?”
“Jack’s excuse was that Courtney was a good friend and a friend of the family. But no one was buying it.” And we aren’t either…
What happened when this came out at the Married at First Sight dinner party?
A second participant recalled the moment this all came out at the dinner party, revealing that Timothy Smith was “the most vocal”.
“Jack tried to glaze over it,” they said.
“Timothy said, ‘Hold on. You met up with your ex two days ago? So you’ve left Tori and the show and went to Melbourne with your ex, and you expect us to think that’s OK?’
“‘Not to mention, you’ve shown everyone her tits and crucified this poor girl on national TV, calling her crazy, saying you want nothing to do with her. And now, six weeks later, you’re meeting up with her because you need her support?”
As Timothy would say, “BOOM!”
Jack then accused Timothy of “reaching”, saying he was “making a mountain out of a molehill”.
“The craziest part was that Jack actually admitted to seeing his ex and thought it wasn’t a big deal,” the source added.
But wait — there’s more! Tori reportedly was aware this was all going down!
“Tori said, ‘Yes, I know all about it already, Timothy. Stop trying to make it a big deal’,” they recalled.
“Jack and Tori tried to breeze over it, but Timothy was like a dog with a bone. He kept coming back to it.”
Why wasn’t this shown on Married at First Sight if it was such a big plot point?
While this would’ve made for ICONIC television, So Dramatic! recently reported that Courtney threatened legal action against Channel Nine if they aired anything relating to her in the latter half of the season.
This came after it was revealed Courtney was the centre of a nude photo scandal after Jack allegedly showed several grooms intimate photos of her off-camera.
As such, any further mention of the Queenslander was removed from upcoming episodes.
Courtney denies travelling to Melbourne with Jack Dunkley during Married at First Sight filming
In a statement provided to So Dramatic! on February 24, Courtney denied seeing Jack “during filming with his nan’s passing”.
“I don’t know where that came from, but whoever told you that isn’t correct,” she claimed.
“I visited his nan before filming when I went to Melbourne with him. But not when she passed away.”
She did reveal, however, that they reunited after the show and slept together multiple times, as she was under the impression Jack was no longer with Tori. Yikes!
