Bronte Schofield has defended fellow Married at First Sight star Olivia Frazer after she was bombarded with horrific online abuse forcing her off social media.

ICYMI: On January 2, Olivia, who starred on the show in 2022, broke down in tears on her Instagram Story as she shared a number of cruel comments she’d received from trolls. The following day, she deactivated her Instagram telling So Dramatic! she’s “not OK”.

Bronte, who featured in the 2023 series, has taken to Instagram to call out the online bullies targeting Olivia.

“The amount of hate I have seen towards an individual after a highly edited and manipulated show is like nothing I’ve ever seen before. It is out of control,” she started off.

“How can half of you live with yourselves? Calling her a bully yet saying half the things you say to her and being happy with yourself afterwards with NO edit to ‘blame’ is IRONIC AF.

“You are WORSE to all band together and go after someone you watched for 8 weeks for an hour every other night. It’s actually quite embarrassing.”

Bronte then went on to explain that viewers only see “10 mins” of a “16-hour filming day” for each couple on the show.

She continued: “Yet you judge actions that probably didn’t even happen in that order, educate yourselves.

“To those who still troll online, you say you hate reality TV, and everyone who goes on there is “fake”, THEN WHY DO YOU WATCH IT?”

The OnlyFans star then gave some sage advice, suggesting online trolls should go to “therapy” and that “some opinions are just better left unsaid.”

“You aren’t a hero for commenting on someone’s post with such hatred; you’re a straight-up loser; anyone who comes for me for anything Liv did will be straight-up blocked.

“I’m so sick of seeing someone with the purest heart be so torn down for the benefit of a like on your comment. You realise how sad that is!?”

She added: “Stop seeking validation at the expense of someone’s mental health. It’s disgusting.”

The former TV bride then shared a DM she received in response to her Story, asking how she can “support a woman who sl*t shamed another woman on national television?”

Bronte replied saying: “It doesn’t matter what you THOUGHT you saw on reality TV. I don’t care about Liv’s past, like you don’t have one?

“I don’t condone any sl*t shaming, BUT what matters is how you conduct yourself afterwards.”

The Perth-based beauty then took aim at the trolls in a final Story.

“It’s always the people who hide behind fake accounts and their keyboards who have the most to say.

“I’d like to see you make a mistake on national television and then have it used against you for years to come just as you’re starting to feel good AND then have people tell you to get over it when you get upset.

“Not to mention tell you to get over the whole traumatic experience in general but keep an eye on your every move because you’re so irrelevant,” she concluded.
