Married at First Sight Australia 2023‘s Bronte Schofield has addressed a resurfaced Instagram Story in which she criticised OnlyFans creators.

ICYMI: The 28-year-old became the first MAFS 2023 star to make a foray onto the NSFW site.

She was soon forced to defend herself against ex-TV hubby Harrison Boon, who slammed Bronte for “selling nudity to strangers”.

While his self-confessed “double standards” are a big ick, it was recently revealed Bronte previously shared a similar opinion in a damning Instagram rant.

What did Bronte Schofield say about OnlyFans?

In “an old Story highlight” shared to the r/MAFS_AU Reddit thread via a Facebook group, Bronte questioned women’s reasoning for joining OnlyFans.

“For years, we have tried to stop men from taking advantage of us, using us as sexual toys and objects… but ‘pay me for my ass, it’s fine’,” she said. “‘Coz that makes sense.”

Quoting How The Grinch Stole Christmas, she continued: “Hate, hate, hate, double hate, loathe entirely, this entire generation.

“You’re a bunch of contradicting idiots.”

Bronte continued: “If you wanna sell your body for money, that’s great. But there’s [sic] so many of us out here busting our f*cking tits — no pun intended — to actually make a living based on morals.

“Is your mama really okay that you’re bending over like, ‘Hey boys, look at my whole ass, pay me $18 a month for it’.

“‘But my future husband is gonna be so okay with this because he’s gonna love me for me’,” she concluded.

“Yep, alright, keep telling yourself that.” Yikes!

Married at First Sight‘s Bronte Schofield expresses ‘regret’ over past comments

In a statement provided to So Dramatic! on July 3, Bronte said the tirade was shared on her Close Friends Story “around three years ago” and had been screen-recorded by one of her followers.

“I was very upset about a guy I was seeing sleeping around with escorts,” she explained. “I see now it wasn’t their fault, they were just doing their job.

“As females, we are always so quick to judge and attack the woman first.”

Adding that she was “very insecure and unhealed” at that time, the Western Australian said she does “regret the things [she] said”.

“It taught me a lesson to not judge a whole industry when I know nothing about it. I said some bad things, I don’t believe that makes me a bad person,” Bronte continued.

“I took full accountability for it then and I do now.”
