Married at First Sight Australia 2023‘s Ollie Skelton has revealed exactly how long ago he and Tahnee Cook broke up.

The couple — who everyone was rooting for — took to Instagram on December 13 to announce they’d broken up, much to the dismay of MAFS fans across the globe.

While Tahnee vaguely admitted that “sometimes relationships just don’t work out”, Ollie said the couple struggled to adjust to life post-experiment after he moved to Sydney to be with his bae.

Now, as reported in episode 338 of the So Dramatic! podcast, Ollie has dished on when they *actually* called it quits.

“Me and Tahnee have been broken up for five weeks,” he confessed to host Megan Pustetto.

And this checks out!

In posts documenting Ollie’s recent birthday and subsequent outings, Tahnee was noticeably absent. Meanwhile, the Chuffed podcast host attended the TikTok Awards alone in December.

However, the pair are stronger than we’ll ever be because, as Tahnee revealed on her podcast, they’re still living together!

“Obviously, this is not normal by any means,” she confessed. “But as you guys know Ollie moved from Perth to Sydney so we will actually be living together for, I don’t know, maybe a couple months? We’ll see.”

Ollie Skelton shares more details about Tahnee Cook split on his podcast

In a recent episode of his podcast, TOSSER, Ollie shed some more light on the reasoning behind his split from Tahnee.

According to the voiceover artist, he and his ex are “really, really different”.

“I think Tahnee has some great qualities and I have so much respect for her and I still have love for Tahnee but at our core, we are just really, really different,” he said.

“Different not just in likes and hobbies, it’s not just in values, it’s not just in how we navigate our issues, but our wants, our beliefs.”

Ollie explained that as the pair spend more time together, they realised it was “OK” to be different.

Plus, they had both “fallen out of love” with a “multitude of factors” contributing to it.
