SAS Australia 2023‘s Tim Robards has slammed the show’s editors for leaving major storylines on the cutting room floor.

On December 14, the OG Bachelor told Daily Mail Australia that he’d endured a serious leg injury whilst filming, tearing his abductor in the eighth episode.

“In the series, they didn’t show a lot of my journey,” the 41-year-old said. “It was a pretty serious injury and they never showed it. They didn’t make it part of my storyline, which was disappointing as that was a big part of my journey.”

He added: “It gave jeopardy to whether I would get through. I think a lot of people at the end were thinking I looked like the fittest guy that was left, so I’d probably get through.

“But I was actually struggling so much underneath and none of it came easy to me.”

Despite his injury, Tim and Matthew Mitcham were the only recruits who passed selection in the BRUTAL special forces series.

What happened to Tim Robards on SAS Australia 2023?

After he got injured, the reality star “all of a sudden dropped back” and started “struggling and limping around the course”.

“It was so painful to push through,” he confessed.

“I had to go and see the doctor and he said I had partially torn [my abductor] and it could come all the way off, but it was up to me whether I want to keep going.” Yikes!

“I pushed through and luckily didn’t tear it… they knock back the severity of just how hard that show is. They cut out so many things.”

This comes after Tim opened up about his “horrific” chronic health battle.
