The winner of Big Brother Australia 2023 has officially been crowned, but for the first time, there is not one, but TWO victors.

After five weeks of romance, deception and some EPIC evictions, finalists Tay and Ari Wilcoxson (who were a packaged deal), Minee Marx and Louis Phillips, waited to see what their Aussie fans decided via a public vote.

Following in the footsteps of icons such as Reggie Bird, Tim Dormer and Trevor Butler, sisters Tay and Ari took home the Big Brother title. Oh, and a cool $100,000 in prize money.

What did Tay and Ari Wilcoxson say about their Big Brother Australia 2023 win?

The TikTok stars, who were joined at the Big Brother finale by their parents Trish and Shaun, were in disbelief at their win.

“Oh my god! This doesn’t feel real,” Tay said. “Thank you everybody so much.”

When asked what they’d do with the prize money, Tay joked that she would pocket it all for herself.

She then added: “We’ve always said we would want to help our family, that is a big reason why we are here. But we also want to make more memories and travel together and start something of our own business-wise.

“The money will get lots of use.”

The Gold Coast sisters’ win comes after fans flocked to Sportsbet to cast their vote on which housemate was most likely to win.

All season, Louis was the fan favourite to win with odds of $2.25. He was followed closely behind by Tay and Ari, who had odds of $3.50.
