The Block 2023 winners Steph and Gian Ottavio have launched an exciting business venture and we wouldn’t expect anything less from these superstars!
After taking home a whopping $1.75 million from the hit renovation show, the pair, who were well known for their luxe Japandi aesthetic, announced that they were launching a homewares brand called Japandi Estate.
“It’s such a timeless style. We define it as Japanese, with Scandinavian architecture,” Steph previously told 9Entertainment.
“Japandi encourages balance and harmony with nature. It’s about bringing nature in, through natural materials, or even highlighting the beauty of imperfection in other natural materials. The more quirks that it has, great!”
The architect then explained that the design style adhered to the Japanese “wabi-sabi” ideology, which is all about appreciating flaws and imperfections.
According to the official Japandi Estate website, the exclusive homewares brand will be “coming soon”.
