The Block 2023 winners Steph and Gian Ottavio have teased what they plan to do with their record-making $1.75 million winnings.

The 19th season’s auction day went absolutely gangbusters when it aired on November 5, with two teams —Steph and Gian and sisters Eliza and Liberty Paschke — becoming instant millionaires.

House Four was the clear winner after the home surpassed its $3.35 million reserve when it was bought for a MEGA $5 million by Adrian Portelli.

With the addition of the $100,000 prize money, the 27-year-olds are now $1.75 million richer.

So, what do they plan to do with their newfound stash of cash?

The Block 2023‘s Steph and Gian Ottavio tease a ‘BIG’ project

Shortly after their win (which was pre-recorded on November 4), an “overwhelmed” Steph and Gian said that aside from “clearing [their] debt”, they had “no idea” what to do with their winnings.

However, after gathering their thoughts, they told 9Entertainment that a “big” project is on the horizon.

“It’s going to clear our debts in Sydney, it’s going to really set us up for the next stage,” Gian said.

“There’s [sic] big things in the pipeline.”

Steph echoed: “Big things.”

While the couple didn’t elaborate on what this “big thing” is, we have a feeling it’s going to go hand in hand with Steph’s architectural career.

After all, her eye for detail definitely contributed to their history-making win!

Congrats to Steph and Gian!
