The Voice Australia 2023 winner, Tarryn Stokes, has revealed she hasn’t heard from her coach, Rita Ora, in months.
Tarryn was crowned as the victor of the Channel Seven singing competition in October. However, filming for the series took place in early 2023.
Now, the mum-of-two has revealed that apart from some brief emailing, she and Rita haven’t been in touch.
“Not a lot [of contact with Rita], but she gave me her email, so we were emailing back and forth,” Tarryn told the Daily Mail.
However, the 40-year-old isn’t holding anything against Rita and hopes to speak to the How We Do songstress in the near future.
“I might email her again soon and see if she wants to say ‘hi’,” she added.
This isn’t the first time Rita has been accused of leaving her The Voice Australia winner high and dry.

The Voice 2022 winner Lachie Gill confessed that his mentor, Rita, didn’t stick around after last year’s finale either, jetting back to Los Angeles as soon as filming was over.
“I have not spoken to her since the show, which maybe is a bit sad for everyone, but also, I totally understand that she is one busy woman,” Lachie told the Herald Sun in November 2022.
He continued: “She flew back to LA the day after the show finished and obviously would have a lot going on. I have not really bothered to try and reach out and contact her because I sort of know that she would have a pretty busy schedule.”
Lachie empathised that Rita had too many other projects to keep in contact with her The Voice Australia mentees.
“She is there to help and mentor the singers throughout the show, and once that period ends, she has a whole lot of other things to do.”
