Reality TV comes with its fair share of slip-ups and The Voice Australia 2022 is no different. However, we’re not talking about hitting wrong notes or stumbling over words as adrenaline hits the contestants.

No, we’re talking awkward AF editing fails — from changed outfits, bizarre placements of ad breaks and reusing footage from a number of different auditions.

Rita Ora Told Two Contestants the Exact Same Story… Or Did She?

We’ve come to expect a little (or a lot) of franken-biting from shows like The Bachelor and Married at First Sight Australia. But we didn’t think it was possible for such a wholesome show like The Voice!

Eagle-eyed fans recently clocked a clumsy fail when Rita Ora told one contestant she was being extra “picky” this season.

Fans recognised Rita Ora’s phrasing from a previous episode. Source: Seven.

“I’m not used to having limits on teams… like last season it was unlimited,” she told Katelyn Vella.

However, viewers who also tuned in the night before realised this was the exact same phrasing the UK coach used in the previous episode with Emma Jayne.

In fact, Rita’s words, inflection and gestures were identical in both episodes.

While it’s a pretty blasé fail on the editors’ behalf, cheeky editing moves are made easier by the fact the coaches wear the same outfits throughout the entire Blind Audition round.
