Big Brother Australia will be returning to our screens for 2023 and we’ve been promised the “spiciest” season ever!
On October 8, Channel Seven dropped the drama-filled trailer for the upcoming series of the hit reality show.
“Are you ready for the spiciest [season] ever?” the voice of Big Brother teased in the preview.
“My house is about to be filled with the sexiest housemates in Australia. What could possibly go wrong?” And we’re screaming!
A dramatic montage began to play, showing challenges, tears, smashed glasses and shrieking, whilst host Sonia Kruger explained that the housemates would face “epic challenges and evictions like never before”.
And of course, there’s no shortage of romance!
“Love blossoms and breaks,” Sonia teased as a steamy clip of the contestants played.
“But in the end, who wins? You decide,” she finished. “Welcome to Big Brother 2023“.

This comes after Daily Mail Australia reported that 2023 may mark the end of Big Brother Australia.
An industry insider said the 2023 series is the last one Channel Seven is “contractually required to produce”, leaving the show’s license in limbo.
What’s more, the series, which was originally dubbed Big Brother: House of Love and cast with single contestants, has failed to deliver on producers’ expectations.
In fact, no romances blossomed as anticipated, which forced the network to drop the House of Love theme altogether! Yikes.
