Big Brother Australia‘s Sophie Budack has revealed she’s expecting her first baby in May 2023.

Sophie, who finished in second place during the 2020 season of Big Brother, took to social media on October 23 with a snap of a positive pregnancy test, an ultrasound and a baby onesie.

“Our little miracle arriving in May,” the 28-year-old penned, tagging her partner Rutger, who she’s been dating since early 2021.

In a subsequent post on TikTok and her Instagram Story, Sophie shared a video of her journey through motherhood thus far, from the moment she discovered she was pregnant to her growing baby bump.

“Can’t wait to share more of our story with you guys,” she penned. “For now, I’m just so happy and overwhelmed with the support and love.”

While little is known about Sophie’s baby daddy, the former gymnast previously revealed they met through her younger sister, Yasmin.

“He’s amazing! His name is Rutger, and he’s my perfect match,” she told the Daily Mail in 2021.

“Since Big Brother, I spent the last year concentrating on me and wasn’t looking for love, but when love literally walks through your door, there’s nothing you can do,’ she confessed.

The romance became public a year after her split from her co-star and Big Brother 2020 winner, Chad Hurst.

The pair parted ways in 2020 after Germany-born Sophie relocated to the Netherlands amid the pandemic.
