Celebrity chef Jamie Oliver has hinted that he’ll be judging the upcoming season of MasterChef Australia and we love this for him!

Rumours have been swirling that the UK-based restauranteur would be fronting the show alongside Andy Allen and Melissa Leong, with Woman’s Day reporting that he’d bagged a $2 million deal.

And it seems there’s some truth to these claims because the iconic chef alluded to his return to the show back on August 24.

“AUSTRALIA, I’m coming for you,” he wrote to Instagram at the time.

“Join me at @sydneyoperahouse in conversation with the amazing Melissa Leong on Saturday 11th November!”

The cooking icon, 48, said he’d be telling his culinary story and providing cooking tips to his followers at the event.

“And I’ll obviously be talking about why I’ll always fight to keep kids’ health at the top of the agenda,” he finished.

According to the MasterChef Australia 2024 application form, filming for the cooking show is set to start in November, which is the same time Jamie will be gracing the Opera House. So the rumours check out!

This comes after long-time judge Jock Zonfrillo was found dead on May 1, sparking speculation about who’d be taking his place.
