MasterChef Australia has reportedly found a judge to replace the late Jock Zonfrillo and they’re a very famous face.

After the Scottish chef was found dead on May 1, rumours have been swirling about who’d be taking his place on the upcoming series of the hit cooking show.

Some fans believed former contestants Hayden Quinn and Dan Churchill would be fronting the season alongside Andy Allen and Melissa Leong.

Others thought the OG MasterChef judges would return after George Calombaris posted a clip from a video call between him and his former co-stars Gary Mehigan and Matt Preston.

However, according to Woman’s Day, iconic British chef Jamie Oliver, 48, is set to take over Jock’s role.

An insider told the magazine that the restauranteur has negotiated a whopping $2 million deal, which includes accommodation for his family when they visit him in January, as well as his trip back to the UK for Christmas.

Reportedly, the celebrity chef hasn’t agreed to take up the gig permanently. It’s also believed that he’ll begin filming in November.
