Rumours have been swirling that the original MasterChef Australia judges will be returning to the show after leaked footage from a Zoom call circulated on social media.
On August 8, celebrity chef George Calombaris posted a clip from a video call between him and his former co-stars Gary Mehigan and Matt Preston, captioned: “Some serious food talk for a very special project”.
In the clip, the judges were making fun of George’s “daggy” taste in desserts.
“The daggier the better! As daggy as we are on this Zoom call,” George joked in response. Interesting…
The trio hosted the hit cooking show from 2009 to 2019 so naturally, this video caused fans to go wild in the comments section.
“Omg pls come back to TV!,” one user wrote, whilst another penned: “I miss you three so much, MasterChef has never been the same without you.”
“Would love to see this team back together,” a third added.
Another user said: “Please say you guys are making a comeback to TV.”

This comes after fans speculated that judges Melissa Leong and Andy Allen may quit the show following the death of their co-star Jock Zonfrillo.
“Has anyone ever thought, ‘What if Mel and Andy decide not to continue being judges next season?’” one Facebook user wrote on a MasterChef fan page.
“That crossed my mind too,” another fan admitted.
And now that the three OG’s are back together, we have a feeling they may be onto something…
