Former The Block couple Norm Hogan and Jess Eva have landed themselves their very own TV show on Channel 9, and this ought to be entertaining AF.

As we all know by now, just one measly reality TV stint can open up a whole world of possibilities, and The Block is certainly no different.

We’ve seen past contestants return to the show as tradies and crew members (*cough* Dan Reilly and Tom Calleja *cough*), while others — such as Mitch Edwards and Mark McKie — have hosted their own series.

Now, 2018 couple Norm and Jess are the latest to hit the small screen with their new show, Budget Battlers.

At Nine’s annual Upfronts event on September 6, the program was touted to be a bit of a reprieve from the high-flying, high-budget renovation shows currently on telly.

According to an official summary, Norm and Jess “will carry out incredible renovations for unsung heroes while showing viewers how you can renovate an entire home on a budget”.

Budget Battlers is produced by Northlight Productions, and will hit the small screen in 2024.

The show will see Jess’ return to Channel 9 six years after she and Norm pocketed $209,000 on auction day.

She’s since been co-hosting Ten’s morning program Studio 10.

Meanwhile, Norm revealed in late 2022 that he’d been MIA from the limelight because he was battling mental health issues.
