Married at First Sight Australia 2022‘s Olivia Frazer has blamed the marriage experiment for her eventual breakup from her TV husband, Jackson Lonie.
The pair broke up in August 2022 after a litany of issues, not limited to Jackson’s slimy pub pash cheating scandal and a sh*t-ton of general backlash from MAFS viewers.
Now, Olivia has revealed in an Instagram Q&A that she thinks she and the 31-year-old would still be together if it weren’t for the show.
“I really think if the show never aired or if it aired accurately, we’d probably still be together,'” she said when someone asked why they split.
“But alas, it did and it really put too much pressure on our relationship, as strong as it was.”
The 30-year-old added: “At the end of the day, it just wasn’t meant to be.
“Will always love him and have his back.”
It comes after Olivia expressed she and Jackson had both “moved on” and dubbed fans asking about their relationship as “inappropriate”.
“He’s moved on. I’ve moved on. It’s just simply inappropriate to keep talking about my ex.”
Jackson similarly put a stop to fans’ questions about Olivia, telling his followers they’re “friends and that’s it”.

CYMI: Olivia recently settled down in Scotland with no current plans to return.
“There’s a lot more work opportunities [overseas] and the people are more forgiving,” she recently told Yahoo! Lifestyle. “It’s easier to move on, whereas in Australia, people hold you to your edit forever.”
However, thanks to a yuge tea-spilling sesh on Instagram, her unfavourable MAFS edit isn’t the only reason she’s taken to the UK.
According to Olivia, she had been in a “situationship” with a Scottish fella, which recently came to a sudden halt.
“I’ve been keeping secrets from you guys and it’s not really my business to share, but f*ck it now,” she confessed.
“Why am I more heartbroken over this than my marriage ending? Or my five-year relationship ending? Why does this hurt more?”
