Married at First Sight Australia 2022‘s Olivia Frazer and Jackson Lonie have revealed that they’ve broken up after 10 months together.

After meeting in the cursed marriage experiment and navigating a whole lotta drama, it seems the pressure of post-MAFS life has taken its toll on the controversial couple.

Taking to Instagram on August 8 with a joint post, Olivia and Jackson said they have “decided to go [their] separate ways”.

“There has always been a lot of love in our relationship and there will continue to be as we transition into a friendship,” the announcement read, alongside a carousel of photos from their relationship. “We have nothing but love and respect for one another, and no one is to blame for the end of this relationship.

“Simply a case of ‘almost perfect’.”

The pair concluded the post by asking fans for “compassion” as they “navigate this privately”.

“Love, Liv [and] Jack.”

The shock split follows Olivia’s foray onto Instagram Live on August 7, in which she expressed that she and Jackson’s relationship was rock-solid.

She also dished that she thought he may propose upon her return from the UK at the beginning of August.

Obviously, this didn’t happen because, well… See above.

Married at First Sight‘s Olivia and Jackson’s Split Follows a Mountain of Drama

Olivia recently returned from an extended stay overseas, where she fled after Jackson was busted cheating on the 29-year-old in May.

The TV groom was caught on camera locking lips with a Berwick local while on a visit to his Melbourne hometown.

However, despite the bombshell infidelity and Olivia jetting overseas, the couple put on a show of solidarity and maintained that their relationship was as strong as ever.
