Married at First Sight Australia 2022‘s Olivia Frazer says her “heart is in pieces” following the demise of a romance she embarked on after fleeing to Scotland.

ICYMI: Olivia has jetted off overseas like many others looking to escape the Aussie winter. However, the 30-year-old has settled down in Scotland with no current plans to return.

“There’s a lot more work opportunities [overseas] and the people are more forgiving,” she recently told Yahoo! Lifestyle. “It’s easier to move on, whereas in Australia, people hold you to your edit forever.”

However, thanks to a yuge tea-spilling sesh on Instagram, her unfavourable MAFS edit isn’t the only reason she’s taken to the UK.

According to Olivia, she has been in a “situationship” with a Scottish fella, which has recently come to a sudden halt.

“I’ve been keeping secrets from you guys and it’s not really my business to share, but f*ck it now,” she confessed. “Why am I more heartbroken over this than my marriage ending? Or my five-year relationship ending? Why does this hurt more?”

How did Olivia Frazer meet her ‘situationship’?

Olivia explained that she and the mystery lad had begun messaging after she spotted him in an Instagram Reel.

She soon decided to travel to the UK —where she previously lived — to meet him IRL.

“I was like, ‘F*ck it, I’ll go to Scotland and find out,'” Olivia continued. “I came over in March, that’s the reason behind my March trip.”

Admitting she thought he was “the best thing since sliced bread”, she said he’d agreed to take her on “a proper date” if she returned to Scotland.

“When I came back to Australia, I stopped seeing anyone else,” she revealed. Olivia then returned to Scotland on a girls’ trip and to visit the man after they spoke “pretty much every day for the last six, seven months.”

However, that’s when things turned frosty.

“It was decided I would stay back after my girls’ trip and he and I would spend time together,” Olivia said.

“It’s the most frustrating thing in the world as it’s just not happening, and I’ve seen him since being here and the interest and spark and everything was there.

“[But] as soon as my friends left and I didn’t get on that flight home with them, it’s like poof – gone.”

Olivia Frazer admits the whole incident has been a ‘f*ck around’

Olivia, who is from NSW, said the situationship ending has been “so painful”.

“I’ve been so respectful of this person’s privacy, their time, their energy and it’s like, I’m literally on the other side of the world,” she told her followers. “It’s like the biggest disrespect of my time, energy and money.

“I’m on the other side of the world, apart from my friends I have here I’m completely by myself and it’s just such a f*ck around.”

She concluded: “Now my heart is literally in pieces, like this is the worst f*cking thing in my entire life and I just want to be honest with you,” she said.

Let’s hope another Scottish fella comes her way ASAP!
