Married at First Sight Australia 2023‘s Alyssa Barmonde has exposed her on-screen hubby Duncan James for trying to share a bed with his now-girlfriend Evelyn Ellis during the infamous Partner Swap challenge.
During the TV Week Logies Awards on July 30, Duncan and Evelyn were asked during an interview whether sleeping in a bed with a member of the opposite sex should be considered cheating.
The former groom said it was cheating, whilst the MAXIM covergirl remained undecided.
And like the boss babe she is, Alyssa ripped Duncan’s answer to shreds.
“Not Duncan calling sharing a bed cheating, yet he wanted to share a bed [with] Evelyn [during the Partner Swap]. I literally have receipts lol,” the mother-of-one told So Dramatic!
And as always, we’ve got the goods!
During filming, Alyssa sent a voice message to her friend Brad relaying a conversation she had with Duncan at the time.
In the voice memo, Alyssa explained that she asked Duncan if he planned on sharing a bed with Evelyn. However, he shockingly replied: “Where else am I going to sleep?”
Alyssa then clapped back, telling him to sleep on the couch, but he retorted that the couch was too “uncomfortable”.
After Duncan’s sham of a response, she asked him whether he thought it was acceptable to sleep in a bed with someone else. But instead of giving her a straight answer, he just “danced around the question”. And we can’t even.
We’ve also obtained a text message between Alyssa and her friend Brad, where she admitted that she didn’t trust Duncan and Evelyn. And judging by how cosy they are now, we wouldn’t have either!

The last season of the marriage experiment was rife with cheating scandals.
However, according to Alyssa, more betrayal may have occurred behind the scenes, as she believed Duncan and Evelyn hooked up during the Partner Swap challenge.
“Duncan and Evelyn have denied it, but it’s so obvious,” the 35-year-old told So Dramatic!
“Duncan and I got into a fight the week Evelyn and [Rupert Bugden] got into the experiment because someone told me that Duncan was having people over at our apartment when I was with Leon (her son).
“I tried to message [Duncan] and he never responded. Then, a few hours later, he told me it was Rupes and Ev.
“We had a massive fight about it but was never shown,” she dished. Why so secretive, Duncan? Did you have something to hide?
Alyssa also called out Duncan and Evelyn for their saucy photoshoot during the Partner Swap challenge.
“Can we also touch on the fact he thought I would be happy to receive a half-naked photo of him that [Evelyn] took? Yeah nah, not about that,” she said. And as if something didn’t go down after that spicy shoot!

And if Bedgate wasn’t bad enough, Alyssa spilled more tea about Duncan that kinda makes Harrison Boon look like Gandhi.
In another screenshot of her messages with Brad, the outspoken bride revealed that Duncan always had his phone notifications turned off.
However, she told us that this was because he was “probably talking to all his ex-girlfriends,” and consider us SHOOKETH!
Alyssa then dropped one final bomb and this one had our eyes rolling!
“After the Reunion, Duncan sent me a package of the clothes that I left at his house. But one of the shirts wasn’t mine.”
“Perhaps I should send it back to Evelyn,” she joked. And we have no words…
