FBOY Island Australia 2023‘s Vernon Lyon has denied distributing “personal images” of his ex, Brogen Laura, in a contestant group chat.
ICYMI: Brogen and Vernon (whose real name is Brodie) have been going for each other’s jugular since she appeared in the finale to out him for dumping her when he got on the show.
She’s since done a tell-all interview on Abbie Chatfield‘s It’s A Lot podcast, while Vernon spilled the beans on the So Dramatic! podcast.
There were a lot of conflicting facts and recounts of certain incidents. But as they always say, there are three sides to every story: Brogen’s version, Vernon’s version, and the truth.
Now, Brogen has alleged her former flame is attempting to “get back at [her]” by sharing intimate photos of her with his co-stars.
“The fact I even need to post this is embarrassing and disgusting,” she wrote on August 2.
“So Brodie/Vernon is going to extreme lengths to get back at me, for the show or for whatever twisted reason he’s doing this.”
She then claimed a member of the group chat contacted her about Vernon’s alleged actions.
“I have gotten a message from one of the contestants saying that he has shared very very personal images (which were taken when we were dating and which I trusted him with) to a group chat that has everyone from the show in it,” Brogen wrote.
“To do something so disgusting and disrespectful is not very ‘nice guy’ of you, or I mean what you’re trying to hard to portray yourself to be.”

Brogen went on to say that she has stayed relatively mum in the wake of the FBOY Island drama.
“I have turned down interviews and podcasts just so this doesn’t drag out for any longer, but he can’t seem to do the same,” she said. “The lies he is coming up with to try make himself look like a better person (but he just ends up looking like more of an idiot) is insane.
“It’s time for you to move on and focus on your own life instead of talking about a relationship that happened 6 months ago. It’s looking a little weird and obsessive now.”
Brogen concluded: “You’re not a nice person or ever will be, but keep trying to convince yourself you are.”
FYI: In Australia, sharing intimate imagery without consent is known as “revenge porn” or, more formally, as “image-based abuse”.
Across the country, legislation has been introduced to criminalise this behaviour in every state and territory besides Tasmania.
On a national level, people can be charged with “using a carriage service to cause offence or to harass or menace another person” (as per section 474.17 of the Criminal Code).
However, it does need to be clear that the perpetrator intended to cause those impacts.
So Dramatic! has reached out to Brogen Laura for proof that Vernon distributed intimate images of her, however, she had not responded at the time of publication.

When contacted by So Dramatic! regarding Brogen’s claims, Vernon vehemently denied sending personal photos of his ex.
“I can promise on my mum’s life I have never shared images of her,” he said. “I would never.
“That’s so sad.”
In screenshots obtained by So Dramatic! from the abovementioned group chat, Vernon sent a screenshot of Brogen’s Instagram Story, asking for clarification as to whether he’d done what she’s claiming.
“Can I ask everyone in this FBOY chat… Have I ever sent a personal photo of Brogan?”
One co-star labelled the allegations as “f*cked”.
Another said the “only nudes [they’d] seen in this chat is [Vernon’s] ass pic.”
Meanwhile, a third contestant wondered if Brogen had “expect[ed Vernon] to say nothing” after she appeared on FBOY Island Australia.
The latest claims amid Brogen and Vernon’s relationship drama come after the “Fboy” alleged his ex “assaulted” him, leading to their split.
