On June 21, eliminated contestant Antonio Cruz Vaamonde told New Idea which of his co-stars he thought would make it to the Finals.

“They’re all amazing, so I know that any one of them can actually make it. [But] I would love to see Declan [Cleary] or Rhiannon [Anderson in the final two],” the chef spilled.

Meanwhile, evictee Phil Conway reckons Theo [Loizou] has what it takes to win the show.

“”I really feel like anyone could win it at the moment but Theo is who I roomed with from day one so I’ll be backing him until the end,” he exclaimed.

Cast mate Grace Jupp shared this same opinion, telling Who that she thought Theo or Brent [Draper] would win MasterChef this year.

Rumours swirl that MasterChef judges Andy Allen and Melissa Leong might QUIT following Jock Zonfrillo’s death

This comes after fans speculated that fan favourite judges Andy Allen and Melissa Leong may quit the show following the death of their friend and co-star Jock Zonfrillo.

The Scottish chef and restauranteur was found dead in Melbourne on May 1, which prompted the Season 15 premiere of MasterChef to be pushed back a week.

However, as Ten begins to search for Jock’s replacement, fans are wondering whether Andy and Melissa will return to the show next year.

“Has anyone ever thought, ‘What if Mel and Andy decide not to continue being judges next season?’” one Facebook user wrote on a MasterChef fan page.

“That crossed my mind too,” another fan admitted.

Other viewers noted that it wouldn’t be the first time Ten scrapped an entire judging panel. In 2019, the network bid farewell to longtime judges Matt PrestonGeorge Calombaris and Gary Mehigan.

However, there were a number of loyal fans who said Jock would want Andy and Melissa to continue fronting MasterChef without him. And TBH, we hope they stay too!
